Yana van der Meulen Rodgers is Associate Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. She teaches courses and conducts research on gender and economic development; women and global labor movements; economics of the family; and quantitative methods.  She has been a member of IAFFE since 1999 and currently serves as an associate editor for Feminist Economics.  Professor Rodgers maintains a regular consulting relationship with the World Bank and the United Nations. She also manages a project on economics and children (http://econkids.rutgers.edu) and serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of New Jersey.  She received her BA in economics from Cornell University in 1987 and her Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 1993.
