Visa Requirements

Please note that beginning 28 December 2009, tourists from countries requiring a Visa must pay a fee. The Argentine government has begun to implement the "reciprocity fee" to citizens of all countries where Argentines pay special fees to enter. In a first stage, this fee will be billed only at the airport of Ezeiza (Buenos Aires international airport). This "reciprocity fee" was announced in 2008 and was in suspense until Dec. 2009. American tourists have to pay US$ 131, Canadian $ 70 and Australians $ 100, all amounts equal to the amount paid by Argentine visa applicants to travel to those countries.
