Getting to Torino

Participants may fly into the International Sandro Petrini Airport of Caselle (commonly referred to as Caselle) . The airport code for air travel search engines is TRN. For a map of international cities are directly linked to Torino, please click here.

From the airport, either take the Sadem Shuttle Bus or the train into the city.

Dormitories

IAFFE has reserved a limited number of dormitory rooms adjacent to the University of Torino. To reserve a dormitory room, please e-mail torino@iaffe.org, specifiying whether you'd like a single/double room. If applicable, please specify roommate details.

Residenza Cappel Verde - Via Cappel Verde, 5

To get to Residenza Cappel Verde from Porta Susa Railway Station, take bus number 72 in the direction “BERTOLA” for 2 stops.  Descend at the stop “BERTOLA CAPOLINEA,” and walk to Via San Tommaso, ending at Via Cappel Verde. 

Residenza San Liborio - Via San Domenico, 10

To get to Residenza San Liborio from the Porta Susa Railway Station, take the Linea Star2 in the direction “CAIROLI,” exit at the stop, “ORFANE.”  Walk to the street,  Via San Domenico.

1. Dormitory Details
IAFFE has reserved a limited number of dormitory rooms with Check-In June 17, 2008 and Check-Out, June 22, 20087. These are available on a first come, first serve basis and you must book the room for the entire period. If you would like to reserve a dorm room, please contact torino@iaffe.org to confirm availability. If the reserved rooms have filled, the IAFFE office will provide information to contact the Torino dormitory office directly.

2. Dormitory Rates*
Single: EU 35/night (EU 175/ 5 nights) Double (price per person): EU 23/night (EU 115/ 5 nights).
*Reserving through IAFFE requires a 5-night stay, please see "Dormitory Details," for more information.

3. Dormitory Payment
Checks should be made out to "IAFFE Treasurer's Office," and should be sent to the the address below. Please include payment details, your name and contact information.
