Publications Committee

The Publications Committee provides both a sounding board and link for the various publications associated with IAFFE. It can also serve as a policy and oversight arm of the IAFFE Board in relation to coordination, dissemination, and creation of various communication vehicles. The publications include the IAFFE newsletter, Feminist Economics, the IAFFE book series (with Routledge), the IAFFE web site, and IAFFE-L.

Members of the committee include at least three board members. The Executive Director, the editors of the publications, the web-weavers, and the IAFFE-L list moderator all serve as ex-officio members. The board members serve in an oversight capacity; non-board members serve to address non-oversight issues.

The Publications Committee meets at the annual IAFFE meetings and convenes electronically on as “as needed” basis. For 2003, the board members are: Randy Albelda (chair), Charlotte Koren, and Kim Marie McGoldrick. Ex-officio members include Jean Shakelford, Diana Strassmann, Jane Humphries, Marianne Ferber, Gale Sumerfield and Drue Barker.
