Feminist Economics invites nominations of candidates to serve as an Editor on its Editorial Team. Since its establishment in 1994 by Founding Editor Diana Strassmann, Feminist Economics has provided an open forum for feminist inquiry into economics and has been committed to intellectual and international diversity. Pioneering strategies for international inclusiveness, Feminist Economics has published articles from scholars around the world that bring a gender lens to economic inquiry into human lives and flourishing. In 1997, the Council of Editors of Learned Journals (CELJ) named Feminist Economics the Best New Journal in its international awards competition.
