Immediate opening at the Technischen Universität Berlin, Faculty of Economics and Man-agement is in the Institute of Economics and Economic Law a university professor - salary grade W 3 in discipline „ microeconomy” to assign.

Responsibilities:
The faculty envisions hiring a candidate who will continue research in microeconomics, especially industrial organization, game theory, and regulatory economics. A willingness to test theoretical models in a laboratory setting with techniques from experimental and behavioral economics is desired. The successful candidate will focus on publishing in high-ranking journals and on teaching within the bachelor’s and master’s programs of in-dustrial engineering, economics, and industrial and network economics, as well as in the Ph.D. program. The language of instruction in the bachelor’s program is German. The micro-economic chair offers compulsory courses in the bachelor’s program and courses in industrial economics and game theory. Additionally, the successful candidate will be en-gaged in securing research grants on a national and international basis, will cooperate with other departments - especially engineering departments - and will participate actively in the self-administration of the department.

Requirements:
Fulfilment of the profession requirements in compliance with article 100 of the Berlin Act of Higher Education (BerlHG). Publications in high-ranked international journals, expe-rience in attracting research grants, experience in research collaborations and interdiscip-linary projects, as well as the appropriate qualifications and experience for teaching the abovementioned courses. Gender diversity competence is desired.
