Pre-Conference Workshop (Rome 2024)

When: July 2, 2024 from 2pm to 6pm
Where: Sapienza University, Rome

The Pre-Conference & Mentoring Workshop is an event preceding the main conference. While initial Pre-Conference aimed at fostering networking among senior and young scholars, overtime this has seen a few changes. In addition to networking, the Pre-Conference and Mentorship Workshop serves as a place for young scholars to lead the discussion in and around the central theme for the main conference.

This year’s Pre-Conference and Mentorship Workshop, Rome 2024, promises to be bigger and better by also offering the opportunity for young scholars to receive comments on their on-going research and projects. Yes! Join us as we take a Walk through the Gallery of ongoing research work by Young Scholars, and hear what Senior Scholars think about them.

Other scheduled activities include:

  • Panel Discussions on the Central Theme of the main conference. Come listen to seasoned researchers (Senior and Young) as they discuss the central theme for the conference. Come prepared to learn and to ask all your questions.

  • There will also be informal discussions on the sub-themes of the conference. Let us meet in the beautiful open areas in the University to have a relaxed but very informative session.

  • Tune in with the mentorship working group representative to know more about how the mentorship program is a great way to carry interactions between young and senior scholars beyond the conference in a meaningful way.

  • Finally, come listen to the Dos and Don’ts of Publishing: The Editor’s perspective vs the Publisher’s perspective. Our seasoned speakers will be available to answer your questions! #TaylorandFrancis#feministEconomics

Attendance is free of charge for conference participants. If you would like to attend, please register here by May 31. Limited seats available. Reserve your seat NOW!
