IAFFE MeetupsIAFFE held an informal Meet-Up in London on Friday 23 February at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). This social event was co-organized with the SOAS Feminist Economics Network and with the participation of the Women's Budget Group. Sheba Tejani (King’s College London and a member of IAFFE’s Board of Directors), Fatimah Keller (member of IAFFE’s Board of Directors) and Caroline Dommen (IAFFE Managing Director) welcomed some forty guests over drinks and snacks. It was an excellent opportunity to meet and learn about participants' work. IAFFE meetups are part of IAFFE’s community-building efforts. They create links between feminist economists and members of the IAFFE community. This one was also an opportunity for people at different stages of their career to meet and exchange ideas and information with scholars and practitioners. Next meetup: Geneva, 23 May. If you are interested in hosting a meetup where you are, please contact the IAFFE office at iaffe@iaffe.org
