IAFFE Regional Networks

IAFFE Regional Networks are member-driven communities of practice that connect scholars, activists, and practitioners working on feminist economics within a specific region or language group. Members based in a region, members originally from a region but living elsewhere, and members whose research interests lie within a region can all self-select into a network.

Regional Networks aim to:
  • Create inclusive spaces for engagement between scholars and activists working on feminist economics, particularly between conferences
  • Provide space for practitioners and non-economics scholars whose work supports our objectives as feminist economists
  • Strengthen IAFFE's global engagement through regionally-grounded activities and situated knowledge
  • Increase representation from under-represented regions
  • Strengthen IAFFE's capacity to fulfill its mission
  • Grow IAFFE's membership and global community
